Manuscript governance / authorship

Solo authorship policy for the first submission

The first Phase 1A manuscript is prepared as a solo-author submission by default, with external review handled transparently through acknowledgements unless full authorship criteria are met.

Byline

solo
Raúl Chío León is the default sole author and corresponding author.

Reviewers

ack
External review is acknowledged with permission and with the contribution named.

Exception

criteria
Coauthorship requires contribution, revision, final approval, and accountability.

Decision

The first Eigen Reproducibility Atlas manuscript will be prepared as a solo-author submission by default: Raúl Chío León, first author and corresponding author.

Why

The Phase 1A paper is built from work executed, documented, analysed, and written inside this project: frozen target selection, runner implementation, SimpleFold-3B execution, scoring QA, result cards, environment cards, difficulty log, public site, and manuscript drafting. A solo-author first submission preserves that provenance clearly.

Authorship Rule

An external contributor is invited into authorship only if they make a substantial intellectual contribution, critically revise the manuscript, approve the final submitted version, and agree to be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work. Otherwise, the contribution belongs in acknowledgements.

AI Assistance

AI tools are not authors. ChatGPT/Codex may be disclosed as assistance for coding, drafting, artifact organisation, and review workflows. The human author remains responsible for checking every result, citation, claim, and final sentence.
